Bridging Loans

A bridging loan for businesses is a short-term funding option that helps you cover immediate financial needs while waiting for longer-term financing or a significant cash inflow. Whether you need to seize a quick business opportunity, cover temporary cash flow gaps, or fund an urgent project, a bridging loan provides fast and flexible access to the capital you need, keeping your business moving forward.

Here’s how a business bridging loan will work:

Identify the Need

Your business identifies a short-term funding need, such as purchasing property, covering a cash flow gap, or financing a time-sensitive project.

Apply for the Loan

You apply for a bridging loan. We will require details about your business, the purpose of the loan, and the collateral you’ll use to secure it, such as property or other assets.

Loan Approval

The lender evaluates your application, focusing on the value of the collateral and your exit strategy (how you plan to repay the loan). Approval is often quicker than for traditional loans.

Receive Funds

Once approved, the lender disburses the loan amount. Funds are typically available within a few days, allowing you to address your business’s immediate financial needs.

Use the Loan

You use the funds as intended, whether it’s for purchasing property, bridging a cash flow gap, or another business need.

Repayment

You repay the loan in a lump sum or through regular payments, depending on the agreement. Repayment is usually expected within 6 to 24 months. The loan is typically repaid using the proceeds from selling an asset, securing long-term financing, or receiving expected revenue.

Loan Closure

Once the loan is repaid, the lender releases the collateral, and the bridging loan is closed.

This process allows your business to access quick funding for short-term needs while planning for a longer-term financial solution.
